lately bodily fragile

sheperding followers of Christ
She welcomed new light and glory

Guardian called her the Knight
amongst people of Bahá
But for a different, peaceful fight

Unto islands in Atlantic,
she set her steps
spreading th word and working in clinic

Her name was Brigitte...

Working as midwife,
she helped many children
to come into life

Returned to Astlanda at the turn of tides
Winds of change blowing in 80ies
Guiding and assisting in many sides

Her name was Brigitte..

Humble, yet energetic
one man said she is a spirit
indeed, and systematic

Grandmotherly being there
Sound mind and belief combined
Sense of wit and showing care

Her name was Brigitte...

She will be missed
She will be remembered
She will live on

in thoughts and memories
in prayers and stories
in lives of children
