nüüd uni tuleb silmist välja kista
ja kustutada kõhunälja vaeg
ning võileib kähku põske pista

kell täistundi lööb, nüüd aeg on minna
tee porine ja lumerohke
kuid siiski enne kella jõuan sinna
ja lasen kuuldavale vaikse ohke

Tund tunni järel päev kaob igavikku
kuni käes on mineku kord
ust avades ma tunnen värskendavat õhustikku
ja helinaga saabub lõppakkord

Päev loojumas on nüüd
ta peatselt poeb nüüd minevikuvarju
ei kunagi kordu hetked need
kuid selle mõttega nüüd harju.
